Bachelor of Science Degree Program Online — Overview

California State University Dominguez Hills offers students an opportunity to complete the fully accredited Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership Studies (OLS) program entirely online. The OLS (formerly known as the Applied Studies [APS] BS) is an online degree completion program designed for those who have completed 60 semester or 90 quarter units of college courses, and who are ready to complete a bachelors degree.

The online program is especially suited for students who have a career and need a bachelor's degree to excel in their career. The interdisciplinary curriculum is particularly suited for individuals with backgrounds or degrees in technical fields for which there is no apparent bachelors program into which they may readily transfer and pursue upper division coursework.

The degree completion program contains a wide spectrum of management and liberal arts courses that will help you become a leader in your profession and advance in your career.

What graduates say about this innovative learning experience...

Completing my bachelors degree was something I knew I needed in order to advance my career and better my life, but the goal continued to stay on the back burner. The Applied Studies program (now Organizational Leadership) is perfect for the working adult. The staff and support group at CSU Dominguez Hills are professional, caring, and always willing to assist you on your educational path. Completing my bachelor’s degree has been one of my best and proudest accomplishments. I encourage everyone to stop saying you’ll finish your degree one day, and make that day today.” —Janine T., B.S. Applied Studies
The program excels in a number of aspects, but a main strong point is the curriculum. Coursework is arduous and challenging, yet purposefully chosen to impart skills needed to meet the challenges of today’s dynamic business world. Delivered by some truly outstanding instructors, the curriculum provides the education befitting an accredited degree of this stature. This level of quality sets the APS program (now OLS) well apart from similar degree programs, assuring a meaningful course of study with ‘real-world’ applicability.” —John N., B.S. Applied Studies
